As someone who previously dropped MATH140 and immediately went into MATH120, I chose a good professor and got an A with minimal stress, and learned some valuable stuff for my major. Unless you are planning on adding a major/minor that is STEM-related I would take MATH120 with a good teacher (I would recommend Archana Khurana she is the GOAT).

Anyone have any 120 tutoring recommendations at UMD or online? I never took pre calc or calc in HS, and I’m currently taking MATH120, and the TA’s/provided tutors aren’t helping. . .
