In my view its not the loss of reinforcements that Knight Shin is upset about, but the principal of Rahmani effectively breaking away from Brotherhood command without consulting or considering her command staff (Knight Shin & Scribe Valdez).Having done all the dialogues and tidbits you can find, I totally understand where Shin's coming from and why he behaves the way he does.
